Haycocks as far as the eye can see!

Haycocks Lane in West Mersea (a rich vein of cocking having been unexpectedly discovered this morning whilst on a family outing) which delighted the whole Tordoff clan when we meandered along it to find..
















..not only Haycocks House (suggesting that a Haycock might be a particular unkempt type of hay bail or something); but also....

















..Haycocks Cottage (that looked much more like a derelict garage to be honest) and..

...a rather mysterious piece of signage suggesting the existence of somewhere nearby called Haycocks Yard. Try as we might we could not find this place; however it is here for posterity. If any cocking colleagues find the actual place, then let us know; we should keep the record as complete as we can!
